Modification Notice Original description: The Service comprises of supplying, delivering, and installing any domestic white goods and furniture and removing any items which are being replaced, to tenanted or void properties owned, managed, or maintained by Derby Homes and any associated services. It may also be used to supply, deliver, and install related goods at any other property or site managed and/or maintained by Derby Homes. Open for potential use by Derby Homes. Derby Homes is seeking to appoint a single contractor. Description of the modifications The modification increases the contract value from £1,670,000 to £2,505,000 and reduces the contract duration from 48 months to 36 months. The increase in value is equivalent to 50% of the original contract value. Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances: The higher than anticipated spend was due to an unforeseen increase in Temporary Accommodation conversions, resulting in greater demand for the contracted services than originally forecasted. This modification is to allow adequate time for completing a compliant competitive retender exercise and maintaining continuity of service.
